Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum and Zamfara state governor, Abdulaziz Yari, said in spite of widespread public criticism, it’s not feasible to continue to pay the current minimum wage to the available workforce.
After a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House Abuja, on Thursday, Yari said the funds allocated from the Federation Account is no longer sufficient to run the states effectively.
Its crazy and its an act of wickedness you want to cut down the minimum wage but your own salary runs in millions and the price of oil doesn't affect it. cut your salary down first leaders should learn to lead by example.
