As former winners of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty pageant converged last night for the 35th anniversary of Silverbird Group, some were noticeably absent. While the event saw the ex-queens mingle with one another, one couldn’t help but notice the absence of some former MBGNs who are prominent in the social circle. Leading this list is Adaeze Igwe (2008), Fiona Amuzie (2010) and Anna Banner (2013) amongst others. Adaeze who is married to football star, Joseph Yobo was however at a wedding in Lagos earlier yesterday according to photos posted on her Instagram page. In her own case, Anna Banner who recently welcomed a baby has been absent from shindigs in the past few months. The immediate past winner of the pageant, Iheoma Nnadi who was also absent is currently in London where some people believe she has permanently relocated to. Others past winners who were absent include, Glory Chukwu, Abiola Bashorun and Isabella Ayuk
